Redskins release training camp schedule

WASHINGTON – The Redskins released the team’s training camp schedule, which will take the team south to Richmond for the first time.

Training camp will run from July 26 through August 16 at the newly completed team training center.

Twenty-eight practic sessions will be open to the public. Fan Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 3. Gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to visit www.redskins.com/trainingcamp for the most up-to-date information including any weather cancellations.

The training facilities have no bleachers so fans will need to bring lawn chairs or blankets to watch the practice sessions. Most parking facilities nearby charge $5 to park. Parking at City Stadium will cost $7 and includes a shuttle ride. A complete list of parking lots is posted here.
