WASHINGTON — Two people are in the hospital after an early morning house fire in Prince George’s County Wednesday.

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to tweets from Prince George’s County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady.

The fire occurred in the 4800 block of 66th Place in Landover Hills and caused an estimated $75,000 in damages.

While the cause remains under investigation, Brady says the fire appears to have started in a bedroom.

The home had no smoke detectors.
