In 2012, 22.4 percent of Washington, D.C.’s office-based doctors used basic electronic medical records, Bloomberg reports, significantly lower than the national average of 39.6 percent.

The results may surprise you. Massachusetts and Minnesota rank high. Connecticut and New Jersey, not so much.
