NFL player runs 25 mph on treadmill (Video)

WASHINGTON – How fast do you go on the treadmill at the gym — 5, 6, maybe 7 mph?

Try 25.

The Arizona Cardinals’ Robert Gill recently hit that speed while “getting ready for the 2013 season,” according to a video posted on YouTube that’s getting some buzz online.

If you think that’s impressive, consider this: Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt reportedly topped out at nearly 28 mph during a 9.58-second, 100-meter sprint in 2009.

A cheetah, meanwhile, could have run that same distance in about six seconds, according to LiveScience.
