Call for entries: WTOP’s 2015 Winter Chili Gallery

WASHINGTON — Shorter days and colder temperatures only mean one thing: It’s time for chili.

Nothing heats up the kitchen and melts away the winter blues like a giant pot of spicy stew. Whether you prefer to make it with short ribs, chicken or veggies, a bowl of chili is always a crowd favorite.

We’re taking submissions through Monday, Dec. 14, and will upload all entries to our WTOP 2015 Chili Recipe gallery, so you can easily swap recipes with friends and draw on some inspiration from others throughout the winter season.

Happy cooking!
