Dates For Bethesda Row Arts Festival

2012 Bethesda Row Arts FestivalThe Bethesda Row Arts Festival is coming back this fall.

The large weekend event that draws artists of all types from across the country will take over Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda Avenue and Elm Street for the 16th year on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Underwritten by Bethesda Row developer Federal Realty, the festival includes almost 200 artists and crafters showing off their photography, glass, ceramics, drawings, pastels, oil and water color paintings, wood, metalwork, fiber, prints, sculptures, digital art, jewelry and mixed media pieces.

The free festival benefits the NIH’s Camp Fantastic/Special Love Inc., Friends of the Clinical Center and The Children’s Inn.

Organizers will soon send out notifications to applicants. It costs $495 for a booth at the event.
