WASHINGTON – Tired? Before you reach for that second cup of coffee, take a look at some ways to get a second wind sans caffeine.

You have at least a dozen option, according to Inc.com.

Start eating: Something spicy can really get your blood flowing. Inc.com suggests a cucumber with chili powder or spicy beef jerky. Avoid carbs and sugars.

Boogie down: Got a favorite summer song you’re ready to bring back? Bust it out and get dancing. Give it a few minutes and you’ll feel more energized.

LOL: Getting yourself and those around you to laugh is a sure way to wake yourself up. If you don’t know where to start, check out WTOP’s cute and crazy animal videos.
