Montgomery Co. police treating man’s death as homicide

WASHINGTON – Montgomery County police are investigating a homicide in the Bel Pre area of Silver Spring after a man’s body was found by his relative.

A police spokeswoman says the call came in around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The man is believed to be in his 30s and had trauma to his upper body.

Officers responded to the home 14600 block of King Lear Court and found the man deceased. Investigators believe the man lived at the home.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was found by a relative.

Police have not released details about the man’s identity.
