More than 60 firefighters team to fight barn fire in Woodbine

WASHINGTON — There were no injuries at a barn fire in Howard County on Sunday afternoon and all livestock were successfully evacuated, authorities say.

Howard County Fire and Rescue services responded to the fire on the 2600 block of Jennings Chapel Road in Woodbine just after 1 p.m., where a small barn was fully engulfed.

About 60 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
