Zeta Associates acquired by Lockheed Martin

The deal is done. Lockheed Martin has acquired the 30 year old technology company Zeta Associates headquartered in Fairfax. Zeta will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed.

And Washington Technology reports the fast growing intelligence company, Novetta Solutions, has picked up Sig-Int Technologies with the goal of building its capabilies in advanced analytics to compliment its growth at Fort Meade.

Cardin pledges to fight for Chesapeake Bay funding

WASHINGTON — Elected officials in Maryland are banding together to fight to protect funding the helps pay for the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay. “That would be horrible,” said Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin of the Trump administration’s proposal to eliminate $73 million that the Environmental Protection Agency spends on the Chesapeake Bay program, designed to restore the health of the nation's largest estuary.
