Police need help finding girl’s family

LANSDOWNE, Md. (AP) _ Authorities are asking for help identifying a girl found in Baltimore County.

Police say a young girl was found around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road in Lansdowne.

Police describe the girl as black and say she is about 3 years old. The girl’s hair is braided with flower-shaped barrettes and she was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, a jean skirt with white leggings and blue flip flops.

Police say they believe the girl’s name might be “Jacia” or her nickname might be “Sissy.”

The Nuke LaLoosh character in the movie classic "Bull Durham" was loosely based on Dalkowski’s career.
