Artfully Chocolate will close its Logan Circle storefront, its owner said via e-mail blast.

The store, which until recently was called ACKC, was located at 1529 14th St. NW. Its last day of business will be Dec. 31, owner Eric Nelson said.

“We will sorely miss serving our friends and customers at the Logan Circle location, but look forward to seeing you at our Alexandria stores,” he said. “Many factors contributed to the situation that caused us to take this action, but the loyalty of our customers was never in doubt.”

The company’s existing locations at Artfully Chocolate in Del Ray and Artfully Gifts & Chocolate in Old Town will remain open.

The company had briefly toyed with changes to the cocoa bar at its Logan Circle location, renaming it Artfully Chocolate Bistro.

The store will have a post-closing sale Jan. 1.
