WASHINGTON – For those unable to keep up with the ever-changing waves of technology, there’s still some hope for the unused gadgets cluttering your house.

Lifehacker is out with the Top 10 ways to turn your old gadgets into newer, perhaps more useful devices. For example, you can turn an old webcam into a home security system, or a stone-age-by-comparison projector into a book scanner.

For those wanting perhaps more of a challenge, there are tips for turning an old netbook into a touchscreen tablet, a computer into a home theater and a cellphone into a robot.
