4 shot in separate incidents in D.C. Monday night

WASHINGTON – Four men were shot in three separate incidents in the District Monday night.

The first shooting happened in the 1100 block of 11th Street NW around 5:45 p.m.

Metropolitan police say a man was shot in the head, possibly while he was sitting in his car. He later died at a local hospital.

D.C. Police categorized the shooting as a “death investigation.”

The second shooting occurred on Taylor Street in Northeast D.C. just before 6 p.m.

A man was shot, and later died at an area hospital.

The third incident involved two teenage boys shot on 22nd Street in Southeast just after 7 p.m.

Police say both boys were conscious and breathing when they arrived.
