2 killed in Anne Arundel Co. head-on crash

WASHINGTON — Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Anne Arundel County on Monday night.

The county police say that an Audi driving west on Central Avenue, near Beards Point Road, in Davidsonville, crossed the center line and struck a Toyota Yaris heading east at about 8:30 p.m.

The driver of the Toyota, who was 60, was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Audi, 22, was taken to the Anne Arundel Medical Center, in Annapolis, where he was pronounced dead later.

The police say the drivers’ release their identities on Tuesday, but they say that alcohol appears to be have contributed to the crash.
