Police are investigating a possible suicide on nortbound I-270 near Montrose Road in Bethesda that has caused lane closures this afternoon.

A Montgomery County Police Department spokesperson said Maryland State Police are taking the lead in the investigation, which has started with a group of police vehicles in the right lanes of I-270 just north of the Beltway merge.
