WASHINGTON – In the early morning hours of Jan. 1, the D.C. area welcomed three new babies to the new year.
WJLA reports that the first baby born in 2013 in the D.C. area was born at exactly midnight at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring.
Not far behind, another baby was born at MedStar Washington Hospital Center at 12:00:05 a.m., and the third was born at 2:43 a.m. at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville.
