What not to give women this holiday season

WASHINGTON – If you’re still struggling with what to give your female significant other this season, The Christian Science Monitor has some tips on what not to give.

The article suggests avoiding anything to make her feel bad about her weight.

If you’re thinking of going with clothes, make sure they are a good fit. If clothes are too big, she might assume you think she’s fat. If they are too small, it could make her feel badly about herself.

Diet and fitness products are also discouraged as gifts. They imply you aren’t happy with her just the way she is.

In addition, the article suggests steering clear of gifting items you really want for yourself, as well as items like candy and flowers.
