WASHINGTON – Gas prices continued to fall in the D.C. area this week.

WTOP’s Price at the Pump survey shows the average price of a gallon of regular is $3.35, down two cents from last week.

Mid grade and premium dropped five cents to $3.53 a gallon and $3.65 a gallon, respectively. Diesel is down seven cents to $3.97 per gallon.

The average for a gallon of regular fuel this week is cheapest in the Maryland area, at $3.27, compared to $3.29 in Virginia and $3.48 in the District.
