UPDATE 1:50 a.m. 12/03/2014: Maryland State Police say Vernon Hare has been found.

EARLIER: WASHINGTON — The police are asking for the public’s help finding a 94-year-old man who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

The Maryland State Police say Vernon Hare was last seen on Hollywood Road, between Old Twin Lane Road and Three Notch Road, in Hollywood, at about 2 p.m.

He is described as white; 5 feet, 11 inches tall; 185 pounds; with blue eyes and gray hair. The police don’t know what he was wearing when he was last seen, but he always has a black cowboy hat with him. He may be driving a light blue, 2006 Ford Crown Victoria with the Maryland license plate JVF931.
