Kennedy family photos, maternity dress up for auction (Photos)

WASHINGTON — Jacqueline Kennedy’s maternity dress and dozens of never-before-seen photos of the Kennedy family are going up for auction this week.

Nate D. Sanders Auctions announced it will be auctioning 79 photos of the Kennedy family as well as a maternity dress Jacqueline Kennedy wore in 1960 while she was pregnant with John F. Kennedy, Jr.

Jacqueline gave the dress to White House nanny Maud Shaw after her retirement, according to a news release. Shaw owned the 79 photographs, which offer a “candid and revealing never before seen looks at the Kennedy family,” the release says.

Also included in the auction is the first edition copy of Shaw’s account of her seven years with the Kennedy family, “White House Nanny.”

Bidding begins Thursday and the minimum bid is set for $10,000.
