Tightest parallel park makes world record (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Anyone who has struggled to fit into a tight parallel parking space before will appreciate this especially difficult feat. Not only did the driver park in the very small space, he did so without stopping.

Ronny Wechselberger holds the new Guinness World Record for tightest parallel parking job. It was recorded as part of the Guinness World Record TV show.

The Volkswagen used in the attempt is 11-feet, 7.37-inches long. Wechselberger parked in a 12-foot, 0.88-inch space.

The distance was measured electronically with a laser device and also with measuring tape, Guinness states on its YouTube channel.
