Man missing from Annandale nursing facility found safe

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police say they have found Keith Willauer, who is safe and in good health.

WASHINGTON — Police in Fairfax County are searching for a man who went missing from a nursing facility early Tuesday morning.

Keith H. Willauer, 48, was last seen about 3 a.m.

He lives in a nursing center in the 7100 block of Annandale Road and has impaired cognition, according to Fairfax County police.

Willauer is described as a white man, stands 5-foot-9, weighs 150 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt and gray sweatshorts.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
