WASHINGTON – Late-night crimes are anything but convenient to convenience stores.

Now, Prince George’s County is proposing a bill that would force convenience stores and gas stations to train their employees on what to do during a robbery.

The Washington Examiner reports commercial robberies are down this year in the county, but 27 percent of them happened between midnight and 7 a.m.

The bill would only apply to stores that are open between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
