WASHINGTON – An accident in Dupont Circle has left a man with non-life-threatening injuries.
Metropolitan Police initially called the accident a hit-and-run, but police now say it was not.
The 1 a.m. accident did involve a taxi.
Police say a man hailed a cab. When the taxi stopped, the driver decided he didn’t want the fare.
The driver pulled away but the man was still holding onto the taxi’s door. Police say he fell down and hit his head.
