WASHINGTON – The frustration continues to mount regarding the Pierre Garcon situation.

Garcon signed to the Redskins in the offseason and was expected to be the team’s no. 1 wide receiver heading into the year, but he was hurt on his 88-yard touchdown reception in the Skins’ opening day win in New Orleans.

He then missed the next two games – totaling eight receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown in three games.

When asked about his foot injury that prevented him from playing Sunday against the Vikings, he said he was experiencing “every day pain.”

“It wasn’t hurting more,” he says. “It was just pain I’ve been dealing with for a long time.”

Coach Mike Shanahan continues to be frustrated by the situation. He says he doesn’t have a feel for what the injury is and called it a “mystery.”

“We’re going to hopefully give him a little time to get that thing healed,” he says. “How long will it take? We don’t know
