WASHINGTON – Giant Food recalled organic mini-peanut butter sandwich crackers because of possible salmonella contamination.

The grocery store is recalling the following versions of Late July Organic Snacks mini peanut butter sandwich crackers with sell-by dates May 19, 2013 to July 11, 2013:

• UPC 89044400070 (5 oz. packaging)
• UPC 89044400071 (1.125 oz. packaging)
• UPC 89044400072 (9 oz. Packaging)

Consumers who bought these items should throw them away and show a receipt at a Giant Food store for a full refund.
