Va. woman attacks acquaintance with high-heel shoe

WASHINGTON – A Manassas woman is in the Prince William County jail after allegedly attacking an acquaintance with her high-heel shoe.

Luz Besaida Machado Bolanos, 43, got into a verbal argument with someone she knew, investigators say. Bolanos is accused of attacking a 45-year-old woman from Florida, initially with her keys and then with a high-heel shoe, police say.

Bolanos also went after a 67-year-old woman who tried to stop the fight, police say. All injuries were minor.

Bolanos is being held without bail, charged with assault and battery.
