$26K in car parts stolen from Vienna dealership

WASHINGTON – More than $26,000 worth of car parts has been stolen from a Koon’s Toyota dealership in Vienna, Va., officials say.

The larceny happened some time between 4 p.m. Monday and 6:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Twenty-four catalytic converters were stolen from 2012 Toyota Tundra pick-up trucks in the dealership’s storage lot, police say.

The converters help to prevent harmful emissions from being released into the air.
