WASHINGTON – Riders may be experiencing a bit of delay on Metro’s Green Line after a train hit a deer.

Metro says the train hit the animal near the Branch Avenue station in Suitland, Md.

There were no injuries on the train, and passengers were let off at the stop.

Metro was single-tracking on the Green Line between Naylor Road and Branch Avenue while the train was moved off the track.
