Get your fill of Slurpees on ‘BYO Cup Day’

WASHINGTON — Slurpee lovers, mark your calendars — Saturday, April 11 is “Bring Your Own Cup Day” at 7-Eleven. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., customers can fill up their own cups — or buckets, bowls and jars — for $1.49. There are certain restrictions, however. Cups must fit through a 10-inch hole, and they must be food-safe and watertight. USA TODAY reports an estimated 7,700 domestic 7-Eleven stores will participate.
