Maryland women top Tennessee, head to Final Four

WASHINGTON – The Maryland women beat second-seeded Tennessee, 58-48, on Monday night in Spokane, Wash., and are heading to the Final Four.

The Terps improved to 34-2 on the season stretched their winning streak to 28 games.

They’ll take on UConn (36-1) in Tampa on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in the Final Four.

FBI arrests college basketball coaches for fraud, corruption

WASHINGTON — The FBI arrested a number of college basketball coaches Tuesday morning on charges of fraud and corruption. NBC News reports Oklahoma State assistant Lamont Evans, Auburn assistant Chuck Person, Arizona assistant Emanuel Richardson and University of Southern California assistant Tony Bland are among those facing charges.
