Prince George’s deputy crashes on way to call

WASHINGTON – A Prince George’s County police car hit a pole on the way to a call on Monday night.

ABC7 reports that a county police deputy was headed to a call for a fight in progress at about 9 p.m. when he struck an SUV at Garret A. Morgan Boulevard and Central Avenue and then slammed into a pole.

He was taken to a hospital as a precaution, ABC7 reports; no one else was hurt.
