STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — It’ll be a new experience Saturday for students at Penn State. It will be the first game Joe Paterno isn’t coaching the football team, after being fired in the wake of the child sex abuse case against a former assistant.
Penn State students aren’t sure what they’ll feel when they look down and see someone other than Papa Joe coaching the football team.
One student hopes crowd will be supportive of the team, rather than angry at the controversy surrounding a few people involved with the school.
