Delaney edges Bongino in Maryland’s 6th District

WASHINGTON — It was very close, but it looks like John Delaney will return to Congress.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, the Democratic incumbent from Maryland’s 6th Congressional District holds a lead of less than 2,200 votes over Republican challenger Dan Bongino — 49.6 percent to 48.4 percent.

George Gluck, of the Green Party, got 3,500 votes, good for 1.9 percent.
