Police ID pedestrian killed in Tuesday crash

WASHINGTON — Police have identified the pedestrian killed Tuesday morning when hit by a car in Colesville, Maryland.

Tschimid Moshkin, 77, of Silver Spring, died at Suburban Hospital after the early morning crash that shut down New Hampshire Avenue at Randolph Road for a portion of the morning, according to a Montgomery County Police Department news release.

The driver, 64-year-old Mark Chambre, of Silver Spring, remained on the scene, police said.
