Arrest made in recent D.C. shooting

WASHINGTON — D.C. police detectives say an arrest has been made in a recent incident in which a man tried to kill another.

On October 9, at around 3:45 a.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 5800 block of Foote Street in Northeast.

Once they arrived, police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital.

On October 31, 23-year-old Dominique Jamal Holmes was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill.
