Bengals’ AJ Green starts vs Jaguars

CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals receiver A.J. Green is starting against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing three games with an injured big right toe.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler is inactive with a calf injury. The Bengals also are missing linebackers Rey Maualuga (strained hamstring) and Vontaze Burfict (knee surgery). Vinnie Rey and Nico Johnson — signed off Kansas City’s practice squad on Oct. 15 — are starting in their spots. Running back Giovani Bernard was ruled out during the week because of shoulder and hip injuries.

The Jaguars had left tackle Luke Joeckel back from a concussion that he suffered last week. Linebacker Dekoda Watson was inactive with an injured hamstring — he’d been listed as questionable — and J.T. Thomas moved over to his spot.
