Making Havoc wins Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Making Havoc held on for a 13-1 upset on Thursday in the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

The 4-year-old set the pace under Israel Rodriguez and opened up a four-length lead at the top of the stretch. It dwindled at the finish as Expression launched a five-wide bid that came up a neck short. The time was 1:11.13 for the six furlongs on the fast track.

Making Havoc, trained by Phil Serpe, paid $29.40, $9.40 and $5.40 for her fifth win in 13 starts.

Expression returned $3.60 and $2.90 while Trail Walker paid $8.10 to show.
