UPDATE: Montgomery County police say Rayman Thomas has been returned safely to his family.

WASHINGTON – Montgomery County police are searching for a missing, mentally challenged 31-year-old man.

Raymal Thomas, of the 12400 block of Littleton Street in the Aspen Hill area, was last seen Friday around 5 p.m., officials say.

He is described as a black male, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds.

Thomas has short black hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with the words “Ray Ray Recycling” on it.

He carries identification and a silver bracelet that reads “Citizen of Maryland.”

Thomas’ providers say he functions at the mental capacity of a 4-year-old.
