Bills place safety Ladler on injured reserve

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have placed backup safety Kenny Ladler on season-ending injured reserve because of an arm injury.

The move was announced Tuesday, two days after Ladler was hurt during Buffalo’s 43-23 win at the New York Jets. It was only the rookie’s second game since being promoted off the practice squad three weeks earlier.

Ladler was an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt, and being used mostly on special teams.

The Bills (5-3) are in the midst of their bye week and don’t play until hosting the Kansas City Chiefs (4-3) on Nov. 9.
