Nurse Nina Pham is Ebola-free

WASHINGTON — Nina Pham, the Dallas nurse being treated at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, is now Ebola-free and will be discharged, CBS News reports.

She contracted the virus after treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died from the disease, at a hospital in Dallas. A second nurse who also developed Ebola after treating Duncan has also recovered from the virus.

NIH officials are expected to make a statement at 11:30 a.m.
