WASHINGTON — A bench warrant has been issued for Jesse Matthew in connection with a 2005 Fairfax County rape.

Matthew is the suspect in the disappearance of Hannah Graham of Alexandria, Virginia.

Matthew, 32, was indicted in Fairfax County on three felony counts related to a 2005 sexual assault. He is charged with attempted capital murder, abduction with intent to defile and sexual penetration with an object

Police say during the assault a 26-year-old woman was walking home from a grocery store when she was grabbed from behind and forced into a wooded area, where she was sexually assaulted.
