Man found unconscious on W&OD Trail identified

UPDATE, 11/13/2017, 5 a.m.: The patient has been identified and family members have been contacted.

WASHINGTON — Fairfax County Police Department is asking the public to help identify a patient who is in serious condition at Reston Hospital.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the Washington and Old Dominion Trail and found the unconscious man around 12:42 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to Reston Hospital for treatment.

The man had no identification with him.

The man, a white man in his 30s, weighing around 180 to 200 pounds, was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black running pants, a black skull cap, and white and blue Asics running shoes. He had an iPod and a smartwatch with him.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Fairfax County police at 703-478-0904.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
