Wizards sign guard John Lucas

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Wizards have signed guard John Lucas.

The Wizards made the move Tuesday.

Lucas has played in six NBA seasons with Houston, Chicago, Toronto and Utah, appearing in 216 regular-season games with eight starts.

Last season, Lucas played in 42 games with Utah, averaging 3.8 points.

Lucas is the son of the longtime NBA guard and former No. 1 overall draft pick of the same name.
