Bills receiver Mike Williams active against Vikes

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills receiver Mike Williams is active against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The move comes a week after Williams’ agent, Hadley Engelhard, was granted permission to seek a trade after the receiver was inactive in a 37-22 loss to New England. The Bills (3-3) do have a spot to fill at receiver with Marquise Goodwin out with an ankle injury.

Williams has eight catches for 142 yards and a touchdown in five games this season.

For Minnesota (2-4), veteran linebacker Chad Greenway is active after missing three games with broken ribs. Greenway’s return has led to Gerald Hodges being inactive after the linebacker started the past three games.
