WASHINGTON — The Montgomery County police are asking for help finding three suspects in an armed robbery in Wheaton.

On Oct. 11, a woman at Westfield Wheaton Mall was walking near the food court when she was attacked and robbed inside the stairwell of the nearby parking garage by three masked men, the police said.

Montgomery County Police are searching for these two suspects in connection with an armed robbery in Wheaton.

A police spokeswoman said one of the suspects had a handgun, a second removed the victim’s wallet from her pants and the third suspect appeared to be a lookout. All three then fled the scene.

When the victim called the police she was able to provide a description of her attackers. From there, police were able to review mall surveillance video and retrieve images that showed two of her suspected attackers without masks.

Anyone who calls Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477) with information that leads to a conviction will be eligible for a reward.
