HENRICO, Va. (AP) — Police say a 6-year-old Henrico boy has died from injuries suffered when a car crashed into his family’s apartment.

Henrico County police told media outlets on Thursday that the child died but didn’t provide details.

Police say the boy’s mother and 2-year-old brother are recovering from injuries they suffered. The car’s driver was treated for minor injuries.

The accident occurred on Oct. 5.

No charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.
