NFL suspends Bucs FB Jorvorskie Lane 2 games

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The NFL has suspended Tampa Bay fullback Jorvorskie Lane for two games without pay for the violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The action was announced Wednesday during the Bucs’ bye week. The second-year pro will sit out games against Minnesota on Oct. 26 and Cleveland on Nov. 2.

Lane was out of football last season after playing with the Miami Dolphins in 2012. He will be eligible to return to the active roster Nov. 3.

Lane has carried the ball twice this year for 56 yards, including a 54-yard run during a season-opening loss to Carolina.
