2 Md. officers released with no injuries after crashing into each other

WASHINGTON — Two Anne Arundel County police officers crashed into each other Wednesday evening.

Two police officers were responding to the 1100 block of Annapolis Road for someone armed with a gun around 6:45 p.m., when one police vehicle rear-ended the other near Annapolis Road and Race Road.

Both officers were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment and were released with no injuries.

The officers have been with the Anne Arundel County Police Department for one and two years.
